Our
transportation on the Mexican Sun and in Peru
will
include many modes of transportation.
We
will be utilizing the public transportation system
frequently, whichgives
us a unique perspective
into the true culture of Mexico. For this
reason we ask that you take only what
you will be comfortable carrying, as we will
be moving from buses, trains, taxis and boats
often.Our
transportation for the Mystical Mexico
journey will be a private vehicle.
Our
accommodation will generally be clean, small
family-owned guesthouse type lodging.
Usually our
rooming
compilation is in same-sex triples or quads,
most rooms will have a private bath. Should you be
interested in more privacy, we can gladly arrange that
before hand with a single supplement fee.
If
you are concerned that you don’t speak Spanish,
don’t worry. Your guide is fluent in Spanish and will
help you to become proficient in the basics, so that
soon you will be able to get around on your own!
Mexican
cuisine includes world-class seafood, fresh
exotic fruits as well as the chips and guacamole.
We
dine in small, clean restaurants where you may even be
invited into the kitchen! You can expect to budget
approximately
$10-20/day for 3 meals and a few cervezas.
Your budget largely depends on your tastes; you can
enjoy local specialties at very reasonable prices.
We
recommend you bring at least $750 in spending money.
Remember,
just because you bring it does not mean you have to spend
it.
There
are many opportunities to buy high quality handmade items,
such as jewelry, carpets, hammocks, embroidered clothing,
etc.
It
is a great place to get your holiday gift buying finished!
