Canadian Rockies!
3 week circle tour, Seattle-British Columbia
Areas traveled through: British Columbia, Alberta, and Washington
We begin our journey by crossing the border into Canada. We have the chance to discover
all the riches the Canadian Rockies and British Columbia have to offer. We have plenty of
chances for action with many multi-sport activities like canoeing, whitewater rafting,
horseback riding, forest walking, whale watching and just enjoying life and spectacular scenery.
Week one we will visit Wells Grey Provincial Park
where we treasure amazing canoeing and
horseback riding in a protected area full of
Canadian loons and other wildlife. We will pass by
the highest point in the Canadian Rockies,
Mount Robson on the way to Jasper National Park.
Here we can walk on glacial ice and the frozen tundra
of the Columbia Glacier along Ice fields Parkway.
Week two finds us marveling at the beauty of
Lake Louise and Banff National Park, where again,
there are many chances to get out, explore and enjoy
the nature in a variety of ways such as mountain biking,
horseback riding, and jeep tours. Whitewater rafting
is exciting on the Kicking Horse or Thompson Rivers.
We travel along roads that take us past Glacier National Park,
Takakkaw Falls and small villages in the Kootenay Range.
Week three we travel toward the cosmopolitan city of
Vancouver. While in this scenic city, stroll through the
Gaslamp district or roller blade past the famous
Indian totem poles of Stanley Park. We ferry across the
Malaspina Strait to arrive on Vancouver Island. Expand
your knowledge of the controversial and endangered
old-growth rainforest of Clayoquot Sound. Soak in
mineral-rich hot springs after an exciting whale-watching
adventure! After exploring the quaint streets of Victoria,
the capital of British Columbia we ferry across the
Juan de Fuca Strait, sailing into Puget Sound. One last
hike in Olympic National Park ends our trip before
finishing our journey in Seattle.

to add another week and join us to journey south to
San Francisco, California. We will travel through
the states of Washington, Oregon, and California
ending in San Francisco, please ask for details***
